Science in the Future

It's all about treatment. There are countless medical journals and magazine articles on prevention, heck there's an entire magazine dedicated to it. But no matter how hard we try to prevent those things in our lives, they always seem to creep up on us. The future will be about finding comfort for the afflicted. Those videos made it clear that we are very well on our way. I believe people are instinctively nurturing and sympathetic, and the the ultimate goal of a human being is to be independent and have a purpose. Science in the future will attack diseases just as severely as they attack our bodies. We will study the anatomy of the human and aim to mimic the natural "fighters" we each have. Also, technology through computers, as seen in the videos, will provide growing outlets to patients with bodily restrictions and brain damage. Ultimately, I believe we will find a less expensive and more accessible way to communicate with those who are currently without speech. Also, if this country and world can see the benefit of stem cell research and application, and bans are lifted, huge leaps will be made. These undifferentiated cells are the key to a scientific and medical revolution in the future.
